Photos shows Izuno-Chohachi's work made on the doors of the main sanctuary of Yorigi Shrine in Shinagawa, a figure of Sarutahikonomikoto. He is the popular god in the mythology known to have a long-noise. I am afraid that #Chouhachi had made up this #plasterer sculpture based on his impression from foreigners with long-noise, whom he met in Meiji period.
