This exhibition displays contemporary netsuke, which was collected by the prince Takamado with her Imperial Highness Princess” (website of the Museum)
The Prince Takamado Collection is well-known among the netsuke-lovers in Japan, as for myself I visited its large exhibition at the Kokugakuin University several years ago. The Museum has installed the permanent room to display some of the collection.
